A day at the beach!!!

Best Buds

So today we packed up early this morning and headed to Ventura! We joined my wonderful friend Leanne and her kids. Her mom lives on the beach so its so fun to join them! We were at the beach for over three hours, then headed back to her house to shower off, play and relax before heading home! My kids had a blast!! Zoe LOVES everything about the beach!! She was covered head to toe in sand but didn't care at all! Jack also had a blast playing with his buddies, exploring, and walking along the beach!! This was the first of many trips we will take this year to the beach! Last year was much harder because Zoe was so young but both of them had a great time and we owe a big thank you to Leanne and her family!!!

Yesterday, I hosted our March Playgroup!! 10 kids and 6 mommies!!! Wow, it was a full house but we had a great time....food, crafts, playtime and our favorite friends!! We have been getting together now for over two years! Its so wonderful to watch the big kids grow and watch the babies fit right in! We are a growing, extended family and we always love getting together whenever possible!

Miracle
In the hospital after surgery!!!

Tonight at dinner
My Nephew Brenden is a true miracle child. He was viciously attacked Sunday by a pit bull at a park, underwent major surgery Monday and tonight he was home. He continued to ask for Jack and was so thrilled to finally get to see him. I was a bit nervous for Jack's reactions, we told Jack that Brenden had gotten a big boo boo on his head but he was okay....when he walked in Jack was curious but once he realized Brenden wasn't acting any different the two of them were off playing. They had such a great night!! We asked Brenden what he wanted for dinner, he replied "sushi"...so off we went!!! It's amazing how resilient children are!! We are so blessed that everything worked out. He still has a long road of recovery and another surgery but he is a tough little guy and we are so proud of him!! Love you Brenden!!

Tonight at dinner
