Today my sweet Zoe Bear turns 8 months old. I can't believe my little peanut is four months away from her first birthday! Time has really flown by and it is so wonderful having her in our family. As of now Zoe is sitting up, eating baby food and tiny pieces of big people food, likes to sit in her high chair, for the first time today sat in the shopping cart with the cover at Target and loved it, is sitting in her big girl car seat because she hated the infant carrier, rolls over, laughs, giggles and loves to watch her big brother Jack! She is a true joy and we love her so very much!

So tonight after dinner, Rob took Zoe outside to water while I was cleaning up and Jack was playing with his toys. When I walked over to pick up the dishes off of the table he looked at me and said, "play with me Mommy" Sometimes, I would say "just let me clean up and then I will come play" but tonight I put down the dishes that were in my hand and I went to play. I realized the dishes can wait. They will get done but I realized what is most important is the quality time I spend with my children. Sometimes I can get upset if my house is a mess but I have to stop and think of what is most important.. While we were playing he grabbed my face and kissed me...my heart melted. I love Jack so much it makes my heart hurt. I thank Jack today for teaching me a lesson! I love you Jack Jack!!!
So I love 3 day weekends...Even though its only one more day I feel like its longer and I love that Robbie is home with us one extra day! Saturday was spent in Valencia just running errands, we had our carpet cleaned, swam in the pool and Robbie made me a yummy dinner. Sunday we headed down to the OC...we went to my parents swim club. We had a great time, swimming, fishing, and playing in the playground. After we left we headed to Grammy and Grampy's, Jack's favorite place in the world.. As soon as we walked in he headed upstairs with Grampy to the "toy room" as Jack calls it. It's a room filled with all of Jacks toys and him and Grampy spend many fun-filled hours playing together! Monday Jack, Daddy and I headed off to Disneyland for a few hours while Grammy and Zoe were at the house...we had a great day with our Jack Jack...It's so nice being able to give him all the attention sometimes! All in all it was a wonderful weekend!!

So today Grammy, Grandma Phyllis, Jack, Cousin Brenden, Zoe and myself went to Sesame Street Live at the Thousand Oaks Civic Center. What a wonderful show it was. Jack had a wonderful time and his favorites were Cookie Monster and Elmo. Zoe had fun also, she watched most of the show and then fell asleep on Grammy's shoulder for the last little bit! After the show, Jack "of course" needed a souvenir, or two...thanks to Grammy Jack got everything he wanted. Then we all headed to The Lakes, an outdoor eating area with ponds, a mini playground and big waterfalls. The Grandmas went and picked up CPK and we had a picnic outside. The boys had so much fun and Zoe enjoyed the fresh air. I would have to say it was a great day! I love sharing these memories with my wonderful mom because I remember all of the wonderful things like this I did growing up. I had the best childhood and I hope I can give my kids the same!!

Last Sunday we went to the Strawberry festival in Oxnard, it was 65 degrees, when we got back to Valencia is was 100! WOW...Rob brought out the kiddie pool and the kids went in. Zoe LOVED it!! She loved when rob splashed the water, she would laugh and laugh, then she started doing it herself. It took Jack a while to go in but once he was in he loved it as well. These are the times I cherish as a mom. Time goes so quickly, i remember when Jack was Zoe's age and now he is almost 2 1/2...i now know why people have more children...not saying i will but I'm trying to hold on to these special times and keep them babies as long as I can!!

As soon as Rob gets home from work it's playtime...He can barely change his clothes and eat dinner before we all head outside for some fun. It's either the boys on the bike, skateboarding, riding the scooter, taking a walk or racing daddy, its nonstop till bedtime. Rob is such a wonderful daddy, he never says he's too tired, he is always such a trooper! Jack LOVES his daddy and tells me that his daddy is his best friend, and I have a hunch Rob feels the same! I love my boys sooooo much!

Hello Everyone...this is my first blog and my first post. Many of my mommy friends have blogs so I thought I would join them! I will try and keep this updated a few times a week...let's see what I can share with you today!!
Jack is my sweet, adorable, smart, loving little boy who is almost 29 months...WOW, he is getting so big. He makes me laugh everyday and I love his kind heart and his daddy's sense of humor. Zoe is 7 1/2 months and she is a true beauty. Her smile is contagious and her laugh warms my heart. Don't get me wrong, she is also a handful...not sleeping through the night, a few short naps a day and wants to do whatever her big bro is doing.. I'm sooo blessed to have two beautiful, healthy, smart, loving children and I feel so lucky to be the mommy of Jack and Zoe!
