Grammy brought balloons!!!

Jack's Birthday was a fun-filled day! He woke up and went down stairs to a table full of spider man decorations....his friends Jack and Charlee came over for breakfast for Jacks favorites, bagels, donuts and chocolate milk. About 11am Grammy came and we went to Stonefire for lunch (Jacks' favorite)!! Then we came home for a quick nap and when he woke up Grampy had come. The plan was Grammy and Grampy were going to take him to the movies but they got there and it was sold out. They then asked Jack if he wanted to go play games at Chuck E Cheese...he said YES, of course. They came back home around 5 and we got ready for our family party. Us, my parents, Rob's Mom, Grandma and Jack's cousin Brenden came along with our wonderful friends Mike and Lisa...we had pizza, cupcakes and presents! It was truly a fun day...Jack had so much fun telling everyone he was three and a big boy! I hope this year is filled with wonderful things for him!!! I love seeing him so happy and I hope and pray he will always be a happy boy!! xoxo

I can't believe my sweet baby boy is 3 today! I remember so clearly the day he was born and now 3!!! I love my boy so much and i hope he has a wonderful day!

Here are some of the reasons i love Jack Jack

2. The way he always is looking out for Zoe

3. When he tells me he loves me

4. His love for Sophie

5. The way he is cautious at times but pushes himself to try new things

6. His excitement to play and discover

7. The way he idolizes his daddy

8. The way he can make me laugh ALWAYS!

9. His eagerness to learn new things

10. His wonderful hugs and kisses!

I'm so proud and honored to be Jack's mommy. I love you to the moon and back Jack Jack!! xo

Pretend City

Last week, my mom and I took the kids to a new children's museum in Irvine. It was amazing...everything was hands on and they were able to shop in a grocery store, plant and dig dirt, work in a construction area, go to the bank, play in a pretend house that was there size and more. It was totally geared toward ages 3 to 5. We were there for two hours but could have stayed longer. My mom ended up buying passes because its so close to her house! If your ever in the area it is definitely worth checking out!!

Sophie Update

Sophie has been undergoing chemotherapy for over two months. The first treatment was a nightmare, she was overdosed but pulled through like a champ. Since that, she has been back three times and has has done really well, no side effects other than her LOVE for FOOD!!! Anything that i forget to put away she grabs!! She is on steroids to shrink the tumor and they are making her food crazy!!! Other than that, she is still the sweetest, most lovable and adorable doggy! Jack and Zoe love her soooo much and she is so wonderful with them. These pictures were taken Friday! I love you SOPHIE!!!

Jack thought this was a great spot for his car!!!

I turned my back and Zoe had done this...
(and Sophie stayed like this for at least 2 minutes)

Zoe's Presents

Jack's Presents

Tonight, was the first night of Hanukkah! It was great...Jack lit the candles, we had a great dinner thanks to CPK curbside(Going to moms for the real Hanukkah dinner), and we all opened presents. We let the kids pick two presents tonight. Zoe was a little overwhelmed by the whole thing but Jack was loving it. Rob helped him decide which ones to open and explained that for the next eight nights we get to open one more each night! Rob and I exchanged gifts as well...holidays are so special with children. There excitement and happiness fills my heart and our home! Tomorrow we are headed to Grammy and Grampy's for more festivities, yummy potato pancakes, and I'm sure, lots more presents!!

How many days until??????

So Jack has been asking everyday for two weeks when Hanukkah and Christmas are. He is having a hard time understanding so many days away! I was trying to think of a visual way for him see how many more days! I came up with a paper chain... and it worked!! I made one for Hanukkah and one for Christmas and everyday we have been taking one ring off!! It has been fun and he looks forward to doing it every morning!!

UNCLE MIKEY

Uncle Mikey came for a visit last weekend from Portland. Jack had so much fun with him...Grampy was a little sad because usually he is number one but Uncle Mikey took first place. He wanted to know where he was at all times and was very sad when he left! I hope we get to see him soon. We had a great weekend but went WAY too fast!

Here are some pictures...from my phone and no flash...so not the best but I wanted to share!!!
